Welcome - I am glad you are here

My path to becoming a therapist began with the realization that I did not truly know myself. By facing my own trauma and struggles, I discovered healing and a peace I once thought impossible. This journey continues to shape how I walk alongside my clients today.

At Light & Anchor, I support individuals and families through seasons of pain and change. With empathy and evidence-based care, I strive to create a safe and steady space where you can explore your story, draw on inner strengths, and move toward freedom, clarity, and renewed hope.

The Story of Light & Anchor

When God spoke, “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3), He brought order and life into a world covered in darkness. Light reveals, heals, and makes a way forward when all seems hidden.

Hope, too, holds us steady. Scripture describes it as “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19). An anchor does not remove the storm, but it keeps us from drifting, reminding us that safety and steadiness are possible even in troubled waters.

The name Light & Anchor grows out of these truths. Light represents healing, clarity, and new beginnings. The anchor symbolizes stability, safety, and the hope that carries us through suffering. Together, they express my desire to offer a space where both light and anchor meet — where stories are explored, wounds are met with care, and each person discovers freedom and steady ground again.
